Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: One 8 inch Square Cake
This is the only brownie recipe you'll ever need. Treat yourself to these beautiful, fudgy brownies!
INGREDIENTS:
1. 4 eggs
2. 200 gm butter ( melted) - I use two 100 gm packs of Amul butter, nothing fancy
3. 2 cups sugar - It's imperative that you use castor sugar
4. 1 cup cocoa powder (Please use good quality cocoa powder)
5. 1 cup flour
METHOD:
1. Just mix these together in a bowl, mix lightly until all the ingredients are uniformly mixed. DO NOT over mix. This is the beauty of this recipe, it doesn't need you to tire your arms. Doesn't even need an electric mixer!
2. Add to a greased tin (I used an 8 inch sq tin). I also make sure I grease and flour the tin, which makes it easier to take the brownies out once they have cooled. This is not mandatory, just makes life simpler.
3. Put tin in preheated oven at 170 degree C for 20 mins. You can keep it in for longer if you don’t like fudginess and want a slightly more cake-y texture.
4. Slice it into square pieces and serve. I have iced these with butter cream frosting, which is optional. They taste like heaven on their own.
TIPS: If you don't have it at home, don't fret. Add a cup of sugar to a mixie and tada! Castor sugar in seconds!
