Serves: 4-5
4 ingredients and 60 minutes- viola a delicious caramel pudding!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 - 1/2 cups of sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
METHOD:
- In a large saucepan, cook and stir 3/4 cup sugar over low heat until sugar is melted and golden. Pour into custard cups, (for coating) let stand for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, vanilla and remaining sugar until combined. Pour over caramelized sugar.
- Place the cups in baking pans. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or (until a knife inserted near center comes out clean) .
- Serve chilled.
TIPS: Serve with caramelised sugar, top it with cherries (you can use any other fruit of your choice) or a pinch of cinnamon powder.
