Shrimp cocktail, a perfect party starter, with a dash of gin!
INGREDIENTS:
500 grams cooked shrimp, peeled and cleaned.
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 cup finely chopped red onion
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 1/2 cups tomato
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 tsp hot pepper sauce.
1/4 cup prepared horseradish
3 tbsp tabasco sauce
Salt to taste
METHOD:
Place the shrimp in a large bowl.
Stir garlic, onion,and cilantro.
Mix in tomato , ketchup, lime juice, hot pepper sauce, horseradish, and Tabasco sauce.
Season with salt.
Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
Serve in one large bowl or Martini glasses
TIPS: To add a twist you can add 2 tsp gin (optional)
