Total Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 12 cheese balls
If you love cheese, you’ll love these cheesy, crispy balls! Really easy to make, and delicious to taste, these cheese balls are a die for! When you bite into these, the creamy cheese just melts in your mouth! Make it for snacks or serve as appetizers for parties or serve it at your next sports get together!
INGREDIENTS:
1. 1 boiled potato
2. 1 cup grated cheese (you can use any- I used Amul Cheese Slices once and Mozzarella Cheese the other time, I loved it more with the grated Mozzarella Cheese)
3. 4 tbsp corn flour
4. 2 tsp oregano
5. 1 tsp red chili powder
6. ½ tsp pepper powder
7. Salt as per taste
8. Oil for frying
METHOD:
1. In a large bowl mash the potato. Add salt and mix well.
2. Add the grated cheese and mix well with the mashed potato.
3. Add oregano, red chilli powder and pepper and mix well.
4. Now take a handful of the mixture and shape them into small round balls.
5. Coat each ball with corn flour and fry them till golden brown.
6. Serve hot.
TIPS: Serve with tomato ketchup. I personally love to have it with Druk’s Red Chili Sauce or Ching’s Schezwan Chutney!
