Serves: 4
South Indian style spicy potato masala is quick and easy to prepare .
INGREDIENTS:
Boiled Potato - 2 big pieces (cut the 4 cubes)
Ghee (or butter) - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Curry leaves - 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli - 2 pieces
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 1/2 tsp
Water - 2 tbsp
METHOD:
Heat the pan in the oil and add mustard seeds , dry chilli and curry leaves cook it few seconds now put the boil potato pieces and strings together.
Now add cumin powder , chilli powder and salt to taste mix well .
Then add the water and cook it for 1-2 minutes low flame .
Now switch off the heat now add lemon juice and cover the pan and keep it aside about for 10 minutes .
Serve with roti or rice.
TIPS: This curry goes really well with lemon rice .
