INGREDIENTS:
Papad - 5 round medium size (cut into half) you will have to use masala papad and fry them
Potato - 1 large (cut into small pieces)
Mustard oil - 4 tbsp (extra for fry the papad)
Panch Foron - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
METHOD:
Heat oil in a pan , when the oil is hot now shallow fry the papad. Keep aside.
Now take the same pan and put the 2 tbsp of oil and when the oil is hot enough add panch foron .
Then put potato cubes pieces, cook for 3-4 minutes on high flame .Add all the spices and salt to taste and mix them nicely and cook for few minutes .
Add some water, let it cook for 5 -7 minutes on medium flame .
When the potato cubes are cooked evenly , add fried masala papad and mix them.
Switch off the flame and let it rest for 8-10 minutes.
TIPS: Serve with roti.
