Serves: 5-6
A spicy, mouth watering cauliflower preparation that can be served for any occasion!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 large cauliflower, either leave it whole or chopped into pieces
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil for brushing
METHOD:
- Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius. Grease a pan with olive oil.
- Boil the cauliflower, either whole or chopped into pieces, in water and salt.
- Drain the cauliflower and keep aside.
- Add all the spices and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Place it in the oven and let it cook for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
TIPS: Leave the cauliflower to marinate till it sucks up all the spices. For faster cooking, it is advisable to cut the cauliflower into small pieces and spread it evenly on a flat baking tray.
