A hearty home made chicken noodle soup recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
Butter - 2 tbsp
Chicken - 100 gms (cut the small pieces)
Noodle - 50 gms (boiled)
Cabbage - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Carrots - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Garlic - 1 tbsp
Mushrooms slice - 3 pieces
Spring onions - 1/2 cup (finely chopped); Extra for garnish
Salt to taste
Black pepper - 2 tbsp
Cornstarch - 2 tsp
Water - 4 cup
METHOD:
Dissolve the cornflour in some water , keep aside .
Put a pot over high heat; add butter , water , carrot , cabbage , mushrooms , spring onions , chicken , noodle , salt , black pepper and boil noodle .
Add the cornflour water.
Cook on low heat for 10 minutes until done.
Pour the soup over it in a serving bowl and serve hot.
TIPS: Serve with grilled bread.
