INGREDIENTS:
Fish fillets - 10 - 12 pieces (bhetki fish/basa fish)
Oil - 1/2 cup (extra for deep fry the Coated fish fillets)
Egg - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Light soya sauce with salted - 1 tsp
Dark soya sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
Garlic chopped - 1 tbsp
Ginger chopped- 1 tsp
Green chillies chopped - 1 tbsp
Bell pepper (capsicum) - 3 tbsp (half bell pepper)
Onion - 3 tbsp (half onion)
Coriander leaves chopped - 2 tbsp
Cornflour- 1 tbsp
Plain flour (madia) - 1 tsp
Cornflour water - 1 tsp
Chicken stock - 1 big tbsp
METHOD:
First marinate the fish in cornflour and madia, put a little salt and egg.
Deep fry the fish pieces until golden brown. Keep aside.
Then take a frying pan and heat 1 tsp oil, then add garlic, onion, capsicum, ginger and green chillies.
Toss the contents with dark soya sauce , light soya sauce, tomato ketchup , some salt and sugar.
Then put some chicken stock and make a cornflour-water mixture and mix it.
Add the Coated fried fish pieces and cook until you get a thick grav.
