This New Year Eve serve these delicious chicken cheese balls to your guests and they'll remember these for the whole of 2016!
INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken keema - 500 gms
- White oil - 11/2 cup (extra for fry)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper - 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
- Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
- Capsicum - 1 (finely chopped)
- Tomato - 1 (finely chopped)
- Spring onions - 25 gms (finely chopped)
- Green chilli - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Flour - 1 cup
- Egg - 2
- Corn flour - 3 tbsp
- Corn flakes - 1 cup (crushed)
- Mozzarella cheeses - 1 cup (grated)
METHOD:
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the onion , garlic and ginger paste and sauté till light brown . Add the chicken keema and cook.
- Now add the red chilli powder , black pepper , turmeric and cook it on high flame for few minutes .
- Then add capsicum , tomato , salt and vinegar and cook it for few minutes .
- Now add spring onion chopped , green chilli and1 tbsp flour and cook on medium flame till it is cooked and dry . Set aside to cool .
- Brush your palms with some oil . Then take out small equal portions from the keema mixture and roll them between your hands to form ball shapes .
- Flat it out and put some mozzarella cheese and roll it again . Then drop the small balls in to the flour and cornflour mixture then to beaten egg mixutre and then into the crust cornflakes .
- Now fry it until it's golden brown in colour.
- Serve hot with your ketchup or mayo.
